Facility Board Meeting

Everyone is welcome to join us at our next Facility Board Meeting on Sunday, January 30th at 4:00 at Upsilon.

At this meeting we will be discussing how the year is going to upsilon, summer project ideas, and talk about slating. A new slate will be approved at the annual meeting that will be held in March.

Ready for Move In!!

It's deadline time!! The ladies will be moving in tomorrow and just a few finishing touches need to happen, but we are essentially complete with the summer renovations!!

Here is what the basement TV room looks like with the TV cabinet complete and the endtables and lamps in place!

It has been a long summer for a few of us on the board making sure everything would be complete by move-in...and there were quite a few set-backs, but we made it! We sincerely hope the girls will get much use out of this room! Enjoy!!

DIY-er's

The chairs for the octagonal table we put back in the room needed a little refreshing, so we got some coordinating fabric and recovered them.

Check out the bright green fabric--that used to be the covering on the dining room chairs!

We also got the pictures hung--we went through the archives and picked out pictures from Upsilon's history as a chapter. Hopefully this room will be another great place for making memories at Theta!!

Bathroom Finishing Touches!

The towels are hung and a little color was added! Kaitlyn's mom embroidered the towels to give the bathroom a little Theta spirit! We decided to take down the (ugly) towel dispensers and move to hand towels that will be washed on a regular basis to help with sanitation and to be more green. There is also one more surprise in this room for the girls when they move in...we'll show it on the blog after Sunday!
